Configuring Collections on Ecomz

Learn how to create or add collections to help you group your products on your Ecomz store.

Configuring Collections

■ Collections

Ecomz gives you the possibility to group some of your products into collections. Collections can be seasonal or based on any other grouping system that you prefer. This will help customers looking into products falling into the same line of grouping to find several items they might be looking for in one place.

■ How to add a new collection

In order to create or add a collection:

Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Products > Collections.
Click on Add Collection.

Note:

If you haven't added a collection yet, another button will be displayed in the middle of the page "add collection" (2).

■ How to create a collection

Once you click "add collection", you'll be redirected to a new page (see picture below) where you can enter all the required information for your new collection.
Start by adding a title to your collection and preferably a brief description as well. In addition, try including a picture by uploading it under Image below the text editor.
Scroll down and select the products you wish to include in this collection under "add products", either by using the provided filter or manually by selecting each product (see picture below).

■ How to add your collection to the store's menu

To add your collection to your store/website as a new menu:

Go to Admin menu > My store > navigation.
Create a new page by clicking "add new menu" (3) under "menu" on the left.
Write the name of your collection, under "link type" choose "collection" (4), and under "collection" select your recently created collection then click on Save.
Finally, go to your theme panel by navigating to your Admin menu > My store > themes > customize theme.
Now choose "menu" found on your right then click "add menu section" (see picture below) and then select new collection.

Don't forget to press Save when done!
