Learn how to import/export products on your Ecomz store.

Importing and exporting products

■ Import / Export

Ecomz has prepared for you import and export options to ease up the process of adding products drastically. All you have to do first is to prepare an excel sheet listing all your products and their details and the rest becomes easy.

Alternatively, you can manually add products and variants

■ Reach import/export option

To reach the import/export options, navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left)> Products > All Products.

■ Import

1. On the products page, click on Import.
2. A pop-up with several options for importing products will appear (sheets + images).
3. Upload your Excel sheet by clicking "Choose file" (1) under "step 1: upload excel sheet"

To import images:

1. Under "step 2: product images", choose whether you want to upload your images as a zip file or using a URL.
2. To upload a zip file, choose "upload zip file" and click on "choose file" (2).
3. To use a URL, click on URL and add the relevant address (3).

■ Export

Exporting can be done using only an excel sheet, or for assigning pictures to products as well. 

1. On the products page, click on Export.
2. A pop-up will appear where you can choose to export your products directly (4), which will export the data as an excel sheet.
3. In addition to that, you can turn "on" the translation button if you wish to translate your product details.    
4. You can then choose the language of exporting, choose the size of the images then click on "export", this way you'll also have the images exported.

Importing the images again after editing the sheet:

• If you ever need to edit your items using the excel sheet, you'll notice that each picture has a specific URL (under the product image column) so that once you re-import the excel sheet after editing it, all pictures will be automatically retrieved !! Below is an example of how the "product image column" will look after exporting the excel sheet !! 
  

Once your files are ready, you will receive an email from Ecomz with your exported files.
