Admin Menu on the Left side of the screen This tour manual will give you an overview on Ecomz platform, it will help you understand what makes it unique, and you’ll find out how you can work through your admin site and where to find what you’re looking for. ■ In this guide: Discovering the admin menu Once you’ve created your store and logged in to your admin site on Ecomz, you will be presented with an admin menu (on the left) which will be your portal to every part of your store. Now, let’s break it down: ■ Home ■ Analytics Dashboard The dashboard page is where you can closely monitor your store’s sale metrics by studying the provided store summary which includes: Number of orders and new customers in addition to the amount of money earned on a timeline. An accurate sales revenue chart board to track your progress over time. A visitors’ map to help you identify the origin of your traffic and the location of your main customers. Sales Reports Analyze and export your store’s data to Excel such as orders, sales, payments, products, carts, taxes, etc. Find out more about sales reports on Ecomz ■ Products Find everything you need to know about products and their settings. All Products Add your products manually by pressing on “add product”, or import them. and check the details of a previously added product. Collections Group your items in collections, fix their visual order, create a landing page, and add banners to each one, which will be helpful later on with SEO. Inventory Check and manage every item individually according to its variants to have an accurate estimate of your in-stock products and inventory. Gift Cards Manage and issue gift cards for your customers to buy and use on your Ecomz store. Channels (For Pro plans only) Configure Channels on your Ecomz store ■ Orders The orders page gives you the ability to create, control, and monitor orders. Orders Manage and update orders made on your online store, you can also create orders manually if customers happen to place an order by phone. Note: Once an order is completed for the first time, the chosen system currency will be locked and you won’t be able to change it. Order items Manage your order items in bulk. This page gives you fast access to the items you need to ship, and allows you to manage them and export them to excel if needed. Payments Manage your order payments by checking your upcoming payments, manually approving a credit card payment, exporting your payments and more. Cancel & return requests Process Cancel/Return requests ■ Customers All Customers View and create customer profiles on your ecomz store ■ Shipping Pending shipments Shipments ■ Marketing Product recommendations Enable Product Recommendation on your Ecomz store Upsell/Cross-sell Offer discounts on complementary items or simply suggest similar items through upsell/cross-sell campaigns. Product Questions Enable Product Questions and Reviews on your Ecomz store Product Reviews ■ Sales boosters Coupons Create coupons or discount codes that you can share on Facebook, Google, or through email. Discounts Apply discounts in bulk by filtering products according to the title, department, category, collection, creation date, etc. Deals Create your own deals with specific terms and prices. Bundles Create open bundles on your Ecomz store ■ Mailing Lists Mailchimp Activate MailChimp on your Ecomz store Send Grid ■ App store Browse through and activate our features, such as additional currency, additional language, shipping methods, etc, which can boost your revenues and ease up your work. ■ My Store Manage every detail related to your public site including: Dashboard Discover insights about the visitors and their purchasing behaviors. You’ll also find a purchasing funnel and the cart abandonment section. Themes Manage your themes by picking a theme, customizing it using our theme editor, or by changing the HTML and CSS using our source code editor. Please note that everything can be changed to match your brand, including images, colors, typography, layout, content, etc. Pages Edit and manage basic pages like “about us”, “contact us” or “return policy” with a click of a button. You can also create additional pages as you see fit with complete control over the name, content and positioning. Navigation Change the layout of your navigation menu and the footer and link them to pages in your store. This means that you can add, edit, delete and rearrange menus as well as add submenus. Domains Link your domain to your online store or buy a new one here. You can even make it secure by enabling your own SSL certificate. Note: This feature is not available in trial mode. Blogs Create your own blog and add articles and blog posts in order to engage your visitors, improve your SEO and organic traffic. Store settings This page gives you access to all of your store’s configurations such as: General: customize your store details, formats, currencies, languages, privacy bar and you have the ability to cancel or pause your store. Payment methods: edit your payment methods or change your payment authorizations. Shipping methods: customize the shipping zones and rates to your country and to the rest of the world. Sales boosters: edit the settings of your sales boosters here, like the frequency or the timers. Checkout: control the checkout process of your clients by modifying the options the way you see fit. Notifications: prepare your emails and manage your mailing lists. Scripts: create scripts like Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Facebook Pixel, or even other types such as chat. Redirects: add redirects from URL to URL. Blacklist: add countries or IPs you want to blacklist and block off your store. Private site: blocks non-users from viewing site contents. Request a quote: Sends a request to the merchant asking for the price of a product. Cancel /return request: Allows the clients to cancel or return orders. Product Questions & reviews: Allows clients to post questions and reviews. Payment request: Sends reminders to the clients to fulfill their payments. Gift Cards: Create and send a gift card. Wishlist: add an item that is unavailable at the time to a wishlist. ■ Settings Edit the main settings of every aspect of your store. General On this page you will be able to manage: Timezone. Standards and formats: where you can edit the measurement units you wish to use in default mode on your online store. Currencies and rates. Languages. Products In this section you can manage the following settings: General: edit stock-keeping units (SKUs) format and control what to show on your product page. Manage departments: add, edit, or delete a new department.Learn how to Configure Classifications on your Ecomz store. Manage brands: change a brand, add a new brand, or edit the brand. Manage tags: add or search for a tag. Manage specs: add, edit, or delete a new spec category. Payments Configure everything related to payments. You will have the option to activate credit card payments with PayPal, PayFort, CyberSource, PayTabs, and others. You can also configure a Cash On Delivery (COD) option or any custom payment method. Shipping Configure all the shipping details: Shipping origin: this is the location where your items will ship from, you can edit it at any point. Packages: edit the package types, unit, length, width and height. you can also remove packages and/or restore them to the international default values. Shipper provider: customize the settings of the provided shippers or add new shippers. Shipping zones: select the zones where you are willing to ship to. General: enable drop shipping or allow shipping to P.O. Box. Taxes This section only contains two subsections: Tax settings: include the tax into the price directly, and add taxes to your shipping rate. Tax rates: add a country and you will be provided with its tax rate automatically. Configure Taxes on your Ecomz store Notifications Get to choose who has visibility on each type of your store’s notifications. Account Find an overview of your account with the ability to edit and customize the following sections: Owner and Merchant details. Account overview: your plan summary and your account history. Billing information: add credit cards. Invoices: find your store invoices and billing details. Cancel or pause your store.
