A step by step guide teaching you how to integrate Google Analytics to your ecomz store. Integrating Google Analytics ■ What is Google Analytics? Google Analytics, the most popular and widely used web analytics service on the internet right now, is a free analytics service created by Google that tracks website traffic and gives the user detailed reports. Integrating Google Analytics to your ecomz store will help your drastically with your online business. ■ How to set it up on ecomz: Step 1: Create an account on Google Analytics Start by going to https://analytics.google.com/, and create your account by clicking on "Start measuring" (1). Step 2: Fill your account details Insert your Account name > scroll down > click on Next. Step 3: Choose what to measure You'll be taken to the next step. Under "What do you want to measure?" choose Web. Scroll down and click Next. Step 4: Set up your property Fill out the Website Name field. Fill out the Website URL field. Choose the Industry Category. Choose the Reporting Time Zone. Click on Create. Step 5: Accept Google Analytics Terms of Service Agreement Choose the country where your store is based. Check the "I also accept the Data Processing Terms as required by GDPR" box. Check the "I accept the Measurement Controller-Controller Data Protection Terms for the data that I share with Google." box. Click I Accept. Step 6: Get your tracking ID After clicking on "I Accept" in the previous step (4), you'll be redirected to a page where you'll find your Tracking ID. Copy it; you'll need it soon. Step 7: Link Google Analytics to your ecomz store On your ecomz store admin site, navigate to Admin Menu > My store > Settings > scripts. Click on "Create script" on the top right corner of your current page (4). Once you're there, fill in the name of your integration under "script name", choose Google.Analytics under "type" and paste the previously copied ID under "account number".
