Configuring Channels on Ecomz Ecomz Technical Support October 07, 2021 20:54 Updated Learn how to create or add a channel to help you group your products on your Ecomz store. Configuring Channels ■ Channels: Ecomz gives you the ability to create or add a channel in order to group several items or products into a collection and apply customized options to them, such as pricing for example, and eventually sell them on the same platform. What are multi-channels? Note: This option is exclusive to Pro and Pro Plus (enterprise) stores only. If values were added in the same condition set, the system will filter the items that match all the values combined.ex: condition set 1= size is equal to small + color is equal to red. The result will be all red items that are small. If values were added in different condition sets, the system will filter the items that match either of these sets of values. ex: set 1= size is equal to small condition set 2= color is equal to red The result will be all the items that are red and also all the items that are small. ■ How to add a channel: Do I need a channel for every store I create on the Ecomz platform? In order to create or add a channel to the pre-existing ones, Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Products > Channels Click on Add Channel. ■ How to edit a channel: Once you click "add channel", you'll be redirected to a new page (see picture below) where you can enter all the required information for your new channel. This page is divided into 3 sections: Channel configuration Price configuration Add items ■ Channel configuration Can I customize my inventory and pricing per channel? Under this section (1), choose your channel name, the currency, the currency rate, the currency's minimum value and if you want to copy this channel to another (use the provided search box). ■ Price configuration Under this section (2), choose whether the price gets auto-updated and whether you want to allow loss. In addition, choose if the channel source price type is "breakeven price" or "price"; and set the markup amount and percentage. ■ Add items Under this section (3), add items using our provided filter or choose to manually add items using our provided search box. Don't forget to press save when done!
