Changing Static Keywords ■ Static keywords Ecomz gives you the possibility to change the value (name) of any of your static keywords on your public site. This gives you control over the semantics of your website and affects the originality or general feel of your personal store. For example some of our merchants prefer to change the term "shipping cost" to "delivery charge" which resonates better with their type of business. ■ How to change static keywords Navigate to your Admin menu (on the left) > My store > Themes. Once there, click on the three dots on the right side of the current page, and choose Static keywords. Once redirected, all you have to do now is find the static keyword(s) you wish to change. You can do this in 2 ways: The easiest way is to use the search bar. Just type in the word or group of words you wish to change, the section where those word(s) are located should appear just below, in this example we will choose the value: "Login" (1). You will notice that the results are filtered to match your search. You can choose between the remaining options, on which page you'd like the value to change, in this example, we chose "layout" (2). If no results appear using the search bar, you can use the categories just below it. It may be more tedious but you'll be able to see all the static keywords you might want to customize as well. Once you are able to find the word(s) you want to change, just remove what is in the box under the column "replace by" and type the preferred word or phrase. Don't forget to hit Save once you're done. Here's an example: We changed the phrase "Join our mailing list" to the word "email". Learn how to customize the layout of your Ecomz store.
