Integrating Areeba ■ Activate Areeba Step 1: Request a test account on Areeba When activating Areeba you would need to open an account, send an email letting them know that you would like to open an account for an online shop. Head over to https://www.areeba.com/english/contact-us and fill out the form and click Send. Once sent, you will receive a test account from Areeba with the merchant ID and API password. Step 2: Log in to Areeba Login to Areeba by pressing the URL provided in Step 1, and fill the required field with the credentials provided in Step 1. You will be asked to change the password after the first login. Once signed in: Go to Admin →Integration settings (top menu) Click on Edit Tick Password 1 Generate a password Click submit Step 3: Activate Areeba on ecomz Go to the Admin Menu > Settings> Payments > Activate Areeba. Fill out the merchant ID provided at Step 1 and API password generated at Step 2, then press on Activate. Make sure to turn on e-payment option. Step 4: Enable Areeba on the store level Go to My Store > Settings > Payment Settings and enable Areeba. That's it! refresh your site and it should appear as one of your payment methods. Step 5: Validate the Areeba test account on ecomz: Create a dummy product on ecomz platform where price < $3 and quantity > 5 Go to your website Add the previously created dummy product to cart Proceed to checkout Choose Areeba as your payment method Use the test credit card provided by Areeba: Just click Submit and do not fill any of the fields when redirected to the OTP page. Step 6: Send an email to the merchant Send an email to the merchant that the test order is successful and don’t forget to add the link of the ordered product. If the test payment is successful, you will receive the live credentials from Areeba! Step 7: Activate live account Configure Areeba again, using the same steps as in Step 2 with the live credentials once received from the client. Note: Areeba supports all countries except for Israel These are the requirements when opening an account with Areeba: Required Documents: To finalize your application, you need to provide us with: A Lebanese ID A Lebanese Bank Account Additional papers/documents are requested on a case-by-case basis.
