Integrating tawk.to ■ What is tawk.to? tawk.to allows you to monitor and chat with visitors on your website for free. For more information visit tawk.to ■ Create a tawk.to account You have to create an account first. Head over to https://dashboard.tawk.to/signup , fill in the necessary information and click "sign up for free". On the next page, select the language from the drop-down menu and click next. On this page, fill in your ecomz site name and site URL then click next. Now fill in the agents who will be using the chat as well as their roles, then click next. Copy the code, you'll be needing this later, then click done. ■ Integrate tawk.to to your ecomz store Go to your ecomz admin site to activate the chat widget. Navigate to My Store (1) > Settings (2) > scripts (3) > then create a script (4). On the new page click on the drop-down menu under "type" and select custom. Fill in the script name and paste the code that you got from tawk.to under "custom script", then select where you'd want for the chat icon to appear under "triggers". Once all has been filled turn on "enable" and click Save. ■ How it appears on the public site: A chat tawk.to icon will appear at the bottom right of the pages you have selected earlier under "triggers".
