Integrating Facebook Pixel to your Ecomz Store!

■ What is a Facebook pixel?

It’s a piece of code that you integrate into your e-commerce store that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on your website.

■ Why is it important?

• Optimizes ads to increase conversion rates and maximize ROI.

■ How to set it up on Ecomz:

Step 1: Access Facebook Events Manager

1. Open Facebook and log in to the account you want to use with Facebook Pixel.
2. Visit this link to access Facebook Events Manager: https://www.facebook.com/events_manager2
   

Step 2: Connect to a data source

1. Once logged in to Facebook Events Manager, navigate to the left menu > click on the green icon named connect a data source.
   
2. Choose Web to connect to as your data source.
   
3. Choose Facebook Pixel as your connection method.
   
4. Fill out the Name of your pixel field (1).
5. Fill out URL field (2) (optional).
6. Click Continue (3).
   
   
7. After clicking continue on the previous step, a pop-up will show, just click on X icon to close the pop-up.
   

Step 3: Get your Pixel ID

1. Navigate to Settings which can be found in the middle of the menu.
2. There you'll find your Pixel ID, copy it; you'll need it soon.

Step 4: Link Facebook Pixel to your Ecomz store

1. On your ecomz store admin site, navigate to Admin Menu > My store > Store settings > Scripts.
2. Click on "Create Script" on the top right corner of your current page (4).
3. Once you're there, fill in the name of your integration under "script name", choose Facebook Pixel under "type"  and paste the previously copied Pixel ID under "account number".
4. Switch the enable button on and finalize the process by clicking Save.
