Configuring Abandoned Cart Recovery on Ecomz

After activating the Abandoned Cart Recovery Feature, you can now configure and use the abandoned cart recovery feature to remind your customers of their abandoned carts and increase your sales.

Configuring Abandoned Cart Recovery 

■ What is an abandoned cart?

An abandoned cart is when the customer shops and adds items to their cart but leaves your website on checkout. 

■  How to configure it: 

1. Go to the Admin Menu > My store (1)> Store settings (2) > checkout (3)

   

2. Scroll down until you find "abandoned checkout".
3. Choose the options that suit you and press Save.
4. By checking the "enable discount recovery email", you can benefit from an amazing feature that enables you to set by amount/percentage a discount and send it to the customers to encourage them to complete the purchase! 

■  How to edit the "Abandoned Cart Recovery" email template:

1. Go to the Admin Menu > My store (1)> Store settings (2) Notifications (3)
   
2. Go to "Oops, You Forgot To Checkout!" and press on the pen icon. (4)
3. Make sure that the toggle is ON!
4. Once there, you'll have the option to either use Ecomz template or edit your own, in addition to changing the subject of the email and viewing the variables to add or remove some of them! 
   
   
5. You can also add up to 5 bcc emails by scrolling down and clicking on "add bcc recipients"!! 
   

Don't forget to press Save!
