Selling in Multiple Languages on Ecomz Ecomz Technical Support November 25, 2021 19:19 Updated Additional Language is a feature offered by Ecomz, that can be found in the App Store. By activating it for 19.00 USD/Month, you can benefit from adding the language of your choice to your online store and speak to your customers' in their mother tongue so they can have a welcoming shopping experience. Note: Our team is working hard on adding a translated version of the admin site as well !! We'll be launching it soon so stay tuned !! Enabling Additional Languages ■ How to activate it: Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Apps (1) Choose "additional language". Choose the language you want to add and press on Activate. Fill out the details and Verify Card. ■ How to set a language as your default language: Navigate to Admin Menu (on the left) > My store (1)> Store settings (2) Scroll down to "Languages". Activate the automatic toggle if you wish to have the language automatically selected for your customers based on their location(tracked by the IP address). It will differ from one user to another based on their location! To choose a default language, press on the drop-down menu under the "default system language" and choose a language to be set as your default language on the public site. Click on Other displayed languages to choose which languages to add on your public sites. ■ How to show the optional languages on the public site: Navigate to Admin Menu (on the left) > My store >Themes > customize theme. On the bottom right side of the screen press on General. Make sure that the display language checkbox is checked ■ How it appears in the public site: The public site will load with your default language set in the step before. You can change the language by choosing from the Languages drop-down menu, "It auto translates your page ;) ".
