Enabling Cancel/Return Requests on ecomz Ecomz Technical Support December 15, 2020 22:46 Updated The "Cancel/Return Requests" is a feature, offered by ecomz, that can be found in the App Store. By activating it for 10.00 USD/Month, you can give your customers the ability to easily cancel or return an order or an item directly from your online store. Enabling Cancel/Return Requests ■ How to activate it: Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > App Store. Choose "Cancel/Return Request" and press on Activate. Press on Pay Now. Fill out the details and press Verify card. ■ Set up the feature: Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > My Store > Settings. Choose "Cancel/Return Request". Set up the options the way you like and press Save. Options Breakdown: Setup: Make sure that the toggle enable is ON. Set the days where returns are accepted starting from order and delivery date. Choose whether to include items on sale or not by checking/ unchecking the box. Emails: By choosing one of the options listed under the emails section, you'll be redirected to edit the email template related to confirming and declining, and viewing all email templates. Learn how to Edit Email Templates and Notifications. Display: You'll have the option to customize the confirmation message shown when a cancel/return request is successfully sent. You can add a link referring to your Cancellation and Return policy if found by filling the instruction link text and setting the link type to Page and choosing the name of the page containing your Cancellation and Return policy. Applicable items: You can select to receive cancel/return requests for all items. You can select to filter the items where this option is applicable by setting the conditions the way that suits you. Don't forget to press Save! ■ How it appears to customers on the public site: After the customer completes an order, they can click on their account icon. Press View Orders. Once in the View Orders Page, click on the order number of the desired item. After clicking the order number, a page will show with the Cancel / Return options available. Clicking on the Cancel option will open a Cancellation request where the customer will choose the reason and submit. Clicking on the Return option will open a Return request where the customer will choose the reason and the product to exchange with.
