Selling in Multiple Currencies on Ecomz Ecomz Technical Support November 25, 2021 19:21 Updated "Additional Currency" is a feature, offered by Ecomz, that can be found in the App Store. By activating it for 10.00 USD/Month you can benefit from adding any major currency to both your platform and online store so your international customers could use it to shop easily. What is the Multi-currency feature on Ecomz? Note: Subscribing to the Startup lite/Startup plans will allow you to use 1 currency for free Subscribing to the Business plan will reward you with 3 currencies for free Subscribing to the Pro plan will reward you with 5 currencies for free Subscribing to the Pro-Plus (enterprise) plan will reward you with 10 currencies for free The System's default currency is the one used to import products. The Public Site's default currency is the one shown by default on the public site Enabling Additional Currencies ■ How to activate it: Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Apps (1) Choose "additional currency" Choose the currency you want to add (2) and press on Activate (3) Fill out the details and Verify Card. ■ How to set the currency to appear on the public site: Navigate to Admin Menu (on the left) > My store (1)> Store settings (2) Scroll down to "Currencies and rate". Activate the Automatic toggle (3) if you wish to have the currency automatically selected for your customers based on their location(tracked by the IP address). It will differ from one user to another based on their location! To choose a default currency, press on the drop-down menu under the "default system currency" (4) and choose a currency to be set as your default currency on the public site. Click on Other displayed currencies (5) to choose which currencies to add on your public sites. ■ How to set the newly added currency as your system's default currency: Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left)>Settings (1)> General (2) Scroll down to find "currencies and rates". Press on "set as default currency" (3) in order to change your default currency (the one used when importing products). You can also view the Live Rate for each currency!! Note: The system's default currency can only be changed before receiving your first order, then it can't be changed!! ■ How to show the optional currencies on the public site: Navigate to Admin Menu (on the left) > My store (1) > Themes (2) > Customize theme (3) On the bottom right side of the screen press on General (4). Make sure that the display currency checkbox (5) is checked. ■ How to view the added currency on public site: Navigate to your website. Press on the currency at the header of the page. Select the currency you want to view prices in (LBP for example). That's all when it comes to activating and using the Additional Currency Feature on ecomz!
