Setting Shipping Zones and Rates on ecomz Ecomz Technical Support November 17, 2020 06:50 Updated In order to provide shipping services through your ecomz website, you'll have to set up your shipping zones and shipping rates!! The details will be provided either by your shipping provider (for example: Aramex, DHL, and Wakilni) or by your own driver! Make sure to add/import them as they are, to avoid any complications. What is the effect of shipping on e-commerce? Setting Shipping Zones and Rates ■ Configure Shipping Zones: Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Settings (1) > Shipping (2) On the right side of the screen, press on add shipping zone (3) After being redirected to the Create Shipping Zone Page: Choose the Zone Name and select the Countries within this zone. You can check the rest of the world checkbox to set a zone containing the countries not included in your previous zones. Optional: You can set the expected delivery date : From 2 to 5 days for example. You can also choose to exclude weekends by checking the exclude weekends checkbox. Press on Save. Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Settings (1) > Shipping (2) Click on configure shipping rates next to the zone you want to configure (3) After being redirected to the Shipping Rates Page: Press on add shipping rates to add the rates manually. Shipper drop-down menu allows you to select the shipper provider. Service level: Choose the service level provided by your chosen shipper. Package: choose the package size - the options vary between : box-small, box-medium, box-large, box-oversize, envelope-small, envelope-medium, envelope-large, envelope-oversize. Min Weight - Max Weight: Set the minimum and maximum weight that defines the package. Shipping fee: Set the shipping fee for the chosen package. Free Shipping Order Amount : Set the order amount which allows the user to benefit from free shipping. Or press on import to import the rates as an excel sheet. Choose the language of importing. Choose the excel sheet you want to upload or download the sample template and fill it according to the rates provided by your shipping provider. Press on Proceed. Press on import.
