Setting Shipping Zones and Rates on ecomz Ecomz Technical Support July 07, 2021 20:50 Updated In order to provide shipping services through your ecomz website, you'll have to set up your shipping zones and shipping rates!! The details will be provided either by your shipping provider (for example: Aramex, DHL, and Wakilni) or by your own driver! Make sure to add/import them as they are, to avoid any complications. What is the effect of shipping on e-commerce? Setting Shipping Zones and Rates ■ Configure Shipping Zones: Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Settings (1) > Shipping (2) On the right side of the screen, press on add shipping zone (3) After being redirected to the Create Shipping Zone Page: Choose the Zone Name and select the Countries within this zone. You can check the rest of the world checkbox to set a zone containing the countries not included in your previous zones. Select the warehouse(s) from which you want to fulfil the orders to this zone and drag them in their order of priority.Optional: You can override the priority set by prioritizing warehouses that can fulfill the whole order (to avoid splitting orders across different warehouses) and/or localized warehouses (warehouses located in a customer's country). Optional: You can set the expected delivery date : From 2 to 5 days for example.You can also choose to exclude weekends by checking the exclude weekends checkbox. Save! ■ Configure Shipping Rates: How are shipping rates determined? Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Settings (1) > Shipping (2) Click on Manage Rates next to the zone you want to configure (3) After being redirected to the Shipping Rates Page: Click on add shipping rates. You'll get to choose to set either a Flat Rate or a Variable Rate. Flat Rate: Variable Rate: Package: choose the package size - the options vary between : box-small, box-medium, box-large, box-oversize, envelope-small, envelope-medium, envelope-large, envelope-oversize. Min Weight - Max Weight: Set the minimum and maximum weight that defines the package. Shipper drop-down menu allows you to select the shipper provider. Service level: Choose the service level provided by your chosen shipper. Shipping fee: Set the shipping fee for the chosen package. Free Shipping Order Amount: Set the order amount which allows the user to benefit Or click on import to import the rates as an excel sheet. Choose the language of importing. Choose the excel sheet you want to upload or download the sample template and fill it according to the rates provided by your shipping provider. Click on Proceed. Click on import. The imported data will be automatically added after the import is complete! Don't forget to Save. That's all when it comes to setting the shipping zones and rates on ecomz!!
