Adding Product Specifications on Ecomz Ecomz Technical Support October 07, 2021 21:09 Updated Using Ecomz, you'll have the ability to enable / disable the specs section on your product page!! Adding Product Specifications ■ Description: Product specifications (specs) are important as they allow your customers to know more about the products they are willing to purchase, such as: Battery, Storage, RAM, Display Size, etc... Enabling this section will allow you to add specs like manufacturer, washing instructions, material and others on the product details page. ■ Enable the specs section: Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Settings (1)> Products (2). Under "general", enable the toggle next to "Specs" (3). Press on Save. ■ View the section on the product page: Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Products (1) > All Products (2). Click on any product then under "specs", click manage specs list (3). Once the popup that appears, press on "add new spec category". Enter the name of your spec. Press Save. ■ Add specs: To add a spec, navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Settings (1)> Products (2) Head to "manage specs" (3). Once the Spec Category is added, press on add new spec name to add the specification you want. Enable: spec name will be listed. Searchable: transforms spec name into searchable keywords on the public store. Multiselect: enables multiple spec values. ■ Assign specs to your products: Navigate to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Products(1)> Products (2). Choose a product. Under "specs", click on "add spec" (3) Choose the spec category, spec name, and set the values. Press on Save. ■ How it appears on the public site: After choosing a product with added specs on the public site, scroll down until you find the specifications section!
