Setting up and Linking Facebook Shop to your ecomz Store Ecomz Technical Support August 13, 2021 00:29 Updated Facebook Shop is a mobile-first shopping experience where businesses can easily create an online store on Facebook and Instagram for free. Shops let you choose which of your items you want to feature, merchandise with product collections and tell your brand story with customizable fonts and colors. To set up and link your Facebook shop to your Ecomz store, simply follow those steps in order: Step 1: Log in to Facebook Business Suite. On the left side of the screen, press on More Tools > Business Tools. Step 2: Once redirected from the above step, press on the Business Tools icon > Press on Catalog Manager. Choose Create a Catalog and press on Get Started. Choose Ecommerce and press on Next. Choose to Upload Product Info and press on Create.Once done, press on View Catalog. Once redirected, press on Add Items under Add Your Items in Bulk. Make sure to choose Use Bulk Upload and press on Next. Choose Scheduled feed and press on Next. This step is crucial!! In the empty field under Enter URL insert your products' feed URL such as https://www.mystore.com/productsfeed.xml and press on Next. Note: To get the above URL, simply head to your Ecomz public site and type: /productsfeed.xml at the end of the URL We recommend that you schedule the update Daily at midnight! But that's just a recommendation so feel free to set whatever settings that you find suitable. Note: Although you may set the update schedule plan as desired, Facebook reviews every change you make to your Catalogues to ensure that it complies with Facebook's policies and Community standards. This can take up to several days, and thus some of the changes you make may not be directly reflected on your Catalogue and Shops. Choose the Default Currency and press on Upload. Wait until the upload is totally complete then press on Shops located on the right side. Please note that while uploading a yellow warning might appear, but that's nothing to worry about! All will be good :D! Once redirected to Shops, choose the settings however suits you and customize your shop the way you want! Note: Once done, please make sure to create a Facebook shop, link it to the same Catalogue, and submit it for review. Once you get approved, you may start selling! That's all it takes to start selling on Facebook! Got further questions, or simply want to say hi, our 24/7 support team is always there!
