Integrating Facebook Shop to your Ecomz store Ecomz Technical Support November 25, 2021 18:28 Updated Facebook Business Extension makes it easy for businesses to list products and offer service appointments on Facebook and Instagram, find people likely to buy and book, and measure results. Once you’ve integrated it with your Ecomz store, you can easily set up and manage your Facebook assets for these experiences, including a Facebook product catalog, a Facebook Pixel, a Facebook Page, and an Instagram Profile. Integrating Facebook Business Extension V2.0 ■ What is a Facebook Business Extension? The Facebook Business Extension (FBE V2.0) is a popup-based solution that allows users to easily set up the Facebook Pixel, Catalog, Facebook Page Shops, and other aspects. ■ How to set it up on Ecomz: Step 1: Activate Facebook Business Extension How to activate it: Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Apps (1). Choose "Facebook Business Extension" and press Activate. Press on Pay now. Fill your details and press Verify Card. Step 2: Access Facebook Business Manager Navigate to My store (1)> Store settings (2) > Facebook Shop (3). Press on Connect to Facebook. Step 3: Log in to the Facebook Account related to your store Once promoted, fill in the credentials and press Log in. Confirm the identity and press on Continue as "Username". Connect Ecomz Store Sync App to Facebook by pressing on Continue. Step 4: Confirm your settings You'll get a list of available services that you can set up, choose from, or create by a click of a button! Note: If you have previously applied for a Facebook or Instagram Shop, please make sure you select the same Business Manager, Ad Account, Catalog, Instagram Profile, and Facebook Page when configuring your FBE connections on Ecomz. To choose another option, or create a new one, press on the aspect you want and choose to create a new one for example then click on Continue. Note: Please allow at least 24-48 hours for your Facebook Pixel to be active. Give the option you chose a name and press on Continue. Confirm that you know what Ecomz Store Sync App is allowed to do by pressing on Next. That's it!! You are all set. Just press on Done. Note: Although Ecomz syncs changes to your Facebook Catalogue and Shop every 30 minutes, Facebook reviews every change you make to your Catalogues to ensure that it complies with Facebook's policies and Community standards. This can take up to several days, and thus some of the changes you make may not be directly reflected on your Catalogue and Shops. Step 5: Confirm that your connection has been successful Go to https://business.facebook.com/commerce/ Login with your Facebook Business account. Note: Make sure you log in with the business owner account, or with an account that has admin access to the Facebook business account. Click on the connected catalog Click on Catalog (1)> Data Sources (2) Check for Ecomz Store Sync App If the status is All good, Congratulations, you're all set! If not, no worries, you may always reach our support team for further assistance. Step 6: Manage your connection settings Once all is set, press on Manage. You'll be redirected to the Facebook Business Extension Management page where you can easily view, edit, start, and manage all of your connections. Note:If you want to change the Facebook account, you can easily uninstall and repeat the steps again!
