Displaying a page to show that site is under maintenance on Ecomz Ecomz Technical Support October 14, 2021 05:13 Updated Sometimes, pausing your Ecomz store isn't the way to go. Pausing the store is what's usually done when someone wants to pause their store for a long time. In case you wish to pause your store for a short time only, you may wish to have your customers see a page indicating that you are updating your store. So here's how to display such a page: ■ Display the Page Head to My store > Themes > Visit theme store. Choose a free theme and click on "get this theme". Then click on "Activate" when prompted. Head back to My store > Themes > Under other themes, choose the theme you just activated and press on customize. Press on Homepage Layout and delete all the existing elements. Note: Make sure you are working on the new theme. Then add a "banner/image/text" section and choose to add an "Image with text overlay" where you can add the picture and text you want to be displayed. Go to Menu & Footer Menu to delete all the existing elements.Then, go to General and untick all the checkboxes Save your changes. Go back to My Store > Themes > Under other themes, press on Publish next to the theme you just edited. ■ Disable Checkout Go to My store (1) > Store settings (2) > Checkout (3). Turn off the cart checkout button (4). Don't forget to Save! That's all when it comes to displaying a page showing that your website will be back soon on Ecomz!
