Switching to a Private Site on Ecomz Ecomz Technical Support October 13, 2021 22:01 Updated The Private Site feature allows the administrator to restrict access to the website to registered users who are logged in only. Any attempt, by anyone not logged in, to view any Page, Post, or another part of the site will display a login screen. Learn how to activate this feature on Ecomz! ■ Switch to a Private Site: Step 1: Activate the feature Head to My store > Store settings > Private site. Turn the Activate private site toggle on and save. Step 2: Enable whitelisted users To enable whitelisted users to access and view your site, make sure that the "enable whitelist access" toggle is on. Once the toggle is on, you'll have the option of adding specific domains and emails which once registered will be able to access the store. Note: If the "enable whitelist access" toggle is off, even registered users won't be able to access your website!! Step 3: Customize the page display Fill out the information under the display section the way it suits you. ■ How it shows on the public site Once the above steps are applied, your site is now a private site.
