Why is an item not available in a certain country? Ecomz Help Desk November 23, 2021 18:51 Updated After setting up multiple warehouses on Ecomz, ever came across the message below on your cart page preventing you from proceeding to checkout? Well worry not! This could be due to one of three reasons: Scenario #1: Your warehouse is assigned to the correct shipping zone, but the item in question is out of stock. Scenario #2: The item is in stock, but the warehouse is not assigned to the shipping zone intended. Scenario #3: The item is in stock for a different warehouse, but not for the warehouse that delivers to the intended shipping zone. ■ A Look At Scenario #1: In this scenario, head to Products > Inventory and select Beirut Warehouse.Notice that the item chosen is out of stock. Changing the stock quantity should solve this issue immediately 😉 ■ A Look At Scenario #2: In this scenario, if you check the USA warehouse, you notice that this item is in stock. Now, head to Settings > Shipping and scroll down to shipping zones.The USA warehouse only covers the shipping zone containing the countries: United States, Canada & Mexico.This explains why the client who chooses Lebanon as a shipping destination will receive the "item not available" message! Adding the USA warehouse to ship to zone "Lebanon" should solve this issue 😉To do so, click on the three dots, then on Edit Zone. Click on Select Warehouses Select the warehouse containing the available stock, and that would be it! ■ A Look At Scenario #3: In this scenario, head to Products > All products then choose the desired product. Click on the desired variant. Notice that this item has only been assigned to the "Beirut Warehouse"Adding it to the warehouse that ships to the destination country should solve the issue. To do so, click on Manage warehouses. Select the warehouse desired. Make sure that the stock quantity is not zero. Customers should now be able to purchase this item!
