Talk about easier inventory management & less shipping hassle! Below is a a step-by-step guide to manage your seller's warehouses: ■ Multiple Warehouses vs Seller Warehouses: While Ecomz offers both features on marketplace stores, the two should not be confused! In a marketplace store, each seller has their own warehouse. It's up to the marketplace manager and seller to agree whether to ship items from the seller's warehouse or the marketplace warehouse based on the type of business and agreement. The multiple warehouses feature also allows marketplace managers to run several warehouses to ship their items from, regardless of the seller's existing warehouses. This feature is not limited to marketplace stores. ■ Create & Edit Seller Warehouse: By default, a warehouse is created automatically when a seller is added to your store. You may manage a seller's warehouse by following the simple steps below: Go to Sellers then click on the seller for whom you wish to edit the warehouse information Click on shipping settings Scroll down to warehouse section and edit the warehouse information as you desire Don't forget to Save! ■ Assign Item To A Seller Warehouse: 1st Method: Manually Go to Products > All products then select a product Scroll down to inventory then click on Manage warehouses The item is currently assigned to the marketplace warehouse only. Check the box of the seller warehouse you wish to assign the item to Click on Select Proceed with updating the stock in the new warehouse then Save. Note: You may choose to unassign the marketplace warehouse and ship from the seller's warehouse only under the condition that the warehouse you're unstocking from has no unfulfilled or scheduled orders. 2nd Method: Excel Sheet If you have multiple products you wish to assign to a seller's warehouse, all you have to do is: Go to Products > Inventory > Export Select the seller's warehouse's that you wish to add for your item then click on Export. After downloading the excel sheet, go ahead and fill the needed details about your product as well as the stock quantity in the seller's warehouse. Go back to Products > Inventory > Import then proceed with importing your updated sheet. After the import is complete, go to the desired product and you'll notice that the seller's warehouse has been successfully assigned to your product! 😄 ■ View Seller's Warehouse Products: Go to Products (1) > Inventory (2) Choose the seller warehouse you desire (3)All products assigned to this seller's warehouse will be listed below! ■ Add Seller's Warehouse To Shipping Zone: After assigning items to a warehouse, it's time to add the warehouse to a shipping zone to allow orders to be fulfilled from the new warehouse! To do so: Go to Settings > Shipping Under shipping zones, find the shipping zone you wish to ship to then click on the three dots corresponding to that zone Click on edit zone. Click on Select Warehouses Tick the seller's warehouse button then click on Select Optionally, you may set priority overrides for warehouses, or arrange them in order of order fulfillment priority. After that, click on Save.Your new warehouse can now fulfill orders to the assigned shipping zone! That's all when it comes to managing marketplace seller warehouse on Ecomz.
