Configuring Marketplace Commissions on Ecomz Permanently deleted user October 12, 2021 21:22 Updated Commissions are a vital element in setting up your marketplace. In fact, commissions are your main source of revenue! The commission is a specific percentage or amount of a product's price paid by the seller after completing an order. Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to configure your Ecomz marketplace commissions as you desire! ■ Default Commission: The default commission is the general commission that applies to all sellers along with their products, collections and categories. Before setting up custom commissions for sellers, products or categories, you need to set up your default commission from marketplace settings. ■ Seller Commission: Want to set a custom commission for one or more sellers ? We got you! Setting a custom commission for a seller overrides the default commission mentioned in the previous section. To set a custom seller commission: Go to Sellers and select a certain seller Click on commission & payouts Under the commission section, you may customize the following: Performance Discount:- Set a monthly or quarterly discount- Choose to discount the commission by a certain percentage if sales for this seller reach a certain amount. Override Default Commission: Set the seller's commission either as a fixed amount or a percentage. Commission by Department, Category and Subcategory: Similar to the previous section, you may choose to set a different commission for one or more departments, categories, and/or subcategories for products sold by this specific seller. Note: These commission settings are specific to this seller and will not affect those of other sellers, or the default settings you have previously set. That's all when it comes to setting your seller's custom commission! ■ Product Commission: Custom commissions are not limited to departments, categories & subcategories! You can even set a custom commission for one or more products. 1st Method: Manually Check out the steps below to learn how to do so: Head to Products > All products and click on a certain product. Scroll down and pick a variant. Skip this step if your product has no variants. Under the commission section: Turn on the override default commission switch to set a custom commission for your product. Set the custom commission either as a fixed amount or a percentage. 2nd Method: Excel Sheet Head to Products > All products > export. Choose the warehouse you wish to export then click Export. After downloading your excel sheet, under the commission column, you may enter your product's commission as a percentage (number followed by "%") or as a fixed amount (number only).
