Google has the right tool for you and Ecomz helps you integrate it easily! With the My Business tool from Google, you can list your business on Google Maps, set your opening hours, add your website & much more! Below are the simple steps to configure Google My Business: Go to https://www.google.com/intl/en_za/business/. Click on Manage now. Type your business name. If you can't find it in the list below, then choose to Create a business with this name. Enter your Business category then click on Next. Choose whether you wish to add a location where customers can visit (store, office, etc.) then click Next.If you choose "No" then skip steps 6 and 7. If you chose to add a location, enter the address then click Next Drag and drop the red pin exactly where your store is located on the map then click Next. Choose if you provide deliveries to your customers then click Next. Select the areas that you deliver to then click Next. Enter your contact phone number in the first field then under Current website URL, enter your Ecomz public store URL.After that, click Next. Choose if you'd like to receive updates and recommendations for your business from Google then click Next. Now, Google requires a verification code which usually is usually sent in a postcard via mail to the address you provided.To proceed, enter your Contact name then click on Mail. Note: You may choose to Verify Later by clicking on Other options then Verify Later. Enter your business hours then click on Next. Choose if you wish to Accept Messages on Google then click Next. Add a business description then click on Next. Add photos of your business then click Next. You may be prompted to claim free advertising credit.If you wish to Claim your credit, you will be redirected to a create a Google Ads campaignYou may choose to Skip. Click on Continue. After that, you will be redirected to your Google business dashboard where you could manage your business information.
