Activating Mobile Notifications App on Ecomz Permanently deleted user December 13, 2022 17:56 Updated "Mobile Notification" is a feature offered by Ecomz that can be found in the app store. This feature will allow merchants to notify their customers by SMS on their mobile phones at checkout, order confirmation, shipment confirmations, and cart recovery. By activating Ecomz "mobile notification" feature for 14.99 USD/Month, you can activate "mobile notification" to validate customers' phone numbers and improve customer user experience. Note: You will get 500 notifications per month included in the plan. Once you exceed the 500 notifications, you will be charged 4.99$ for every additional 500 notifications. Activating Mobile Notifications App ■How to activate it: Go to the Admin Menu (on the left) > Apps(1) Choose "mobile notification"(2) and press Activate(3) Press on Pay now(4). Fill in your details and press Verify Card(5) ■How to configure its settings: Go to App store > Settings Use the "Enable notification"(1) toggle to enable or disable all mobile notifications Use the "Enable automatic refilled notifications"(2) to automatically refill 500 messages once you reach your basic plan limit You can view the total number of mobile notification messages sent under "Mobile notifications usage quota"(3) ■ How to manage the mobile notification app on the public site: Go to My store > Store settings > Notifications Under "Mobile notification templates"(1), Click on Manage(2) Turn On the "send SMS" toggle to receive verification code for "Mobile verification code", "Order confirmation", "Order shipped", and "Abandoned cart recovery" Note: The cart recovery template will only be sent in case the cart recovery app is activated and the Mobile notification for the Abandoned cart recovery is enabled. If the customer is already registered and logged in, and a phone number is not set in his profile, then he might need to add and verify his phone number by adding it to his profile section.
